Two complete operational HO scale model railroads and
the associated equipment to run them are located inside
the Cowan Railroad Museum.
One depicts a characterization of the Cowan area
and the tunnel. In some cases the details and rolling stock
are accurately portrayed miniatures of equipment that actually
ran over this stretch of railroad in the past. This layout was extensively renovated during the winter of 2009-2010.
The other is Bavarian (Maerklin). As a generous donation
to the museum, it is complete with scenery, buildings and
many lights.
A variety of models in different scales are on static
display as well.
